These paintings represent a variety of more traditional painterly investigations including examples of en plein air. Many of these paintings were created during the four and a half years I lived in South Western France, 1994 - 1999. Some of them were made as demonstrations for my summer study abroad students during the seven years I organized painting trips to France 1999 - 2006.
